Lore: With the largest number of clergy on Jacoria, Akte-Hale was the high authority on divine magicks within the area’s boundaries. Most often depicted as a young, calm-demeanored man clad in temple robes, Akte-Hale found his worship among the most traditional of people. He freely offered up his temples to offer refuge to any in need, common and noble alike. Producing a largely peaceful breed of Herald, Jack Zeo was the first among his title of Herald of Akte-Hale to take the throne of Cidoper, and the final of the Charitable Hoof’s mortal agents. His cold and cunning demeanor, coupled with his Divine gift of restoration, were both tools that were wholly necessary for his victory in the Horseshoe Revolution.
It was Jack Zeo’s actions that directly brought about the end of the Zodiac Age, by acting on false information fed to him by the Herald of Ruoni masquerading as an agent of Kune. His order to raze the village of Seirolac gave rise to the individuals that would go on to be known as the Herald Hunters. King Zeo’s multi-front war against the active Gray Revoltion, the looming northern Teycit border, and the fringe group of Hunters left his forces stretched too thin. He met his end by the blade of Thralan Klaindame, a major historical leader of the Herald Hunters, having been deemed unworthy of his connection to healing and creation. In his final moments, he understood that destruction was all he had wrought, and lost faith as his power was stripped away. Without a further Herald to influence the world, Akte-Hale faded from power.
