Jacoria

The World of Jacoria

With a recorded history going back about 1700 years, the world of Jacoria has recently undergone a massive change from their first 1500 years of history. In the year 1473 ZA {Zodiac Age}, the world was met with a massive uprising against the twelve deities that governed Cidoper, and by proxy due to Cidoper’s place as the leading nation of the world, Jacoria itself. The resulting catastrophes drastically altered the flow of power, and were followed by an immediate world war in 8 PC, lasting across several generations. Finally, in the year 106 PC, the dust settled and peace was declared across the fractured lands. Although many had lost prior territory, their core homelands remained safe. Five distinct nations make up Jacoria; Cidoper, Teycit, Saiurus, Jeouji, and Diaolia. The Current year is 155 PC (Post-Conflict)

Cidoper The temperate heartlands of Jacoria, once famous for their divine Pantheon of Gods, whose Heralds would be born within their borders. Now a shadow of it’s former self.
Teycit The tundra-covered north, and a long time rival of the lands of Cidoper. After a recent technological revolution, they possess a greater understanding of the sciences than all other civilizations upon Jacoria.
Saiurus  The sprawling jungles of the west, and host to a shadowy cabal of generational superhumans known as the Severance Society. Home to the half-orcs of Jacoria.
Jeouji The high above east, set throughout the mountains bordering Cidoper. Possessing a knowledge of spiritcraft and the occult has left them prepared for many disasters throughout history that have otherwise crippled the remaining nations.
Diaolia The tropical south, and  a land of constant calamity. Consists of several islands, once belonging to a single landmass. Maintained their use of Arcane Magicks throughout the near millennia of magical barrenness that swept the rest of the world.

Nyezic The first culture on Jacoria, primarily filled with Orcish people
